Contro la mercificazione: Restare Vivi, Restare Liberi

la resistenza contro la mercificazione delle emozioni delle esperienze, della vita e del nostro valore. Vestita di nero, con lacrime nere sul volto e coperta da soldi finti, critico un sistema che riduce ogni aspetto dell’essere umano a una semplice transazione materiale. Ogni singolo soldo, con l’acronimo del mio nome ODIRAFFA, è un invito a riflettere su cosa ci arricchisce davvero. Non sono i beni materiali o il denaro a definire il nostro valore, ma ciò che siamo dentro, la nostra autenticità, la nostra capacità di emozionarci, di connetterci con gli altri e di vivere in modo consapevole. Non chiedo soldi, ma gesti: un atto di consapevolezza, un passo verso una realtà in cui il nostro valore non dipende dalle aspettative sociali, ma dalla bellezza delle esperienze e delle relazioni autentiche. Perché ciò che arricchisce veramente l’anima non è ciò che possediamo, ma ciò che viviamo e condividiamo. Invito il pubblico a fermarsi, riflettere e riscoprire ciò che realmente nutre l’essenza di ognuno di noi: non ciò che può essere comprato, ma ciò che nasce dal profondo dell’essere, dalla capacità di essere presenti, vivi e liberi.
In this performance, I express (discover..)
resistance against the commodification of emotions, experiences, life, and our worth. Dressed in black, with black tears on my face and covered in fake money, I criticize a system that reduces every aspect of human existence to a simple financial transaction. Each individual banknote, with the acronym of my name ODIRAFFA, is an invitation to reflect on what truly enriches us. Our worth is not defined by material possessions or money, but by who we are inside: our authenticity, our ability to feel deeply, to connect with others, and to live consciously. I do not ask for money, but for gestures: an act of awareness, a step toward a reality where our worth does not depend on social expectations but on the beauty of genuine experiences and relationships. Because what truly enriches the soul is not what we own, but what we live and share.I invite the audience to pause, reflect, and rediscover what truly nurtures the essence of each of us—not what can be bought, but what arises from the depths of our being, from the ability to be present, alive, and free.
Guerrilla Performance: Disturbare l’Immagine Perfetta

In questa performance sperimentale e giocosa (scopri..)
mi sono infiltrata nelle fotografie dei turisti davanti al Duomo di Milano, indossando lamaschera veneziana moretta e un abito gotico. Con un gestoprovocatorio – il segno del fuck you – ho interrotto per un istante la costruzione dell’immagine convenzionale, suscitando reazioni spontanee. Un atto di guerrilla performance che rompe la prevedibilità della scena, rendendo il pubblico stesso parte dell’opera. L’uso della maschera  aggiunge un livello di mistero e ambiguità, mentre il gesto crea un cortocircuito tra estetica e ribellione. In uno spazio pubblico ultra-iconico, dove tutto è pensato per essere immortalato, il mio intervento diventa un linguaggio non verbale che interrompe la sterilizzazione del significato. Un lavoro ispirato a Pier Paolo Pasolini: “In un momento storico in cui il linguaggio verbale è tutto convenzionale e sterilizzato, il linguaggio del comportamento assume una decisiva importanza”
In this experimental and playful performance (discover..)
I infiltrated the photographs of tourists in front of the Duomo in Milan, wearing the Venetian Moretta mask and a gothic dress. With a provocative gesture – the ‘fuck you’ sign – I briefly interrupted the construction of the conventional image, provoking spontaneous reactions. A guerrilla performance act that breaks the predictability of the scene, making the audience itself a part of the artwork. The use of the mask adds a layer of mystery and ambiguity, while the gesture creates a short circuit be en aesthetics and rebellion. In an ultra-iconic public space, where everything is designed to be immortalized, my intervention becomes a non-verbal language that disrupts the sterilization of meaning. A work inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini: ‘In a historical moment where verbal language is entirely conventional and sterilized, the language of behavior assumes decisive importance.’

Fuck you project è nato nel 2020 (scopri..)
con il primo Fuck “Yin-Yang” per l’urgenza di tirar fuori il personale e profondo disgusto per il male perpetrato dall’uomo, utilizzando una comunicazione diretta e forte. L’artista non ha voluto filtrare ed edulcorare questo disgusto. “Non potevo proprio farlo. È come avere un attacco di dissenteria e cercare di defecare mousse al cioccolato. O come avere impellenza di vomitare e tentare di espellere un vino raffinato. Semplicemente impossibile. Inoltre non si può poetizzare un vaffanculo.” Quindi OdiRaffa arriva a determinare di voler impersonificare la sua devastazione interiore, e il suo struggimento. Nasce così “Fuck you project. La performance”.
The Fuck you project was born in 2020 (discover..)
with the first piece titled “Yin-Yang”, a reflection of the artist’s pressing need to express her profound and personal disgust towards all the evils perpetrated by mankind, utilizing direct and forceful communication. The artist had no interest in filtering or sugarcoating her disdain. “I just couldn’t do it. It’s like experiencing a bout of dysentery and trying to defecate chocolate mousse. Like feeling the urge to vomit and attempting to regurgitate fine wine. It is simply impossible. There is just no way to poeticize a ‘fuck you’.” That leads OdiRaffa to the decision to personify her inner devastation and heartbreak. Thus, “Fuck you project. The performance” was born.
